Healing Foods Cookbook - Specific Carbohydrate Diets
Healing Foods is a set of cookbooks designed for those suffering from digestive disorders such as Crohn's, Colitis, Celiac Disease and IBS. It is a completely Grain-Free, refined Sugar-Free, Starch-Free and Lactose-Free diet based on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet™.
SCD™ was developed by Dr. Sydney Haas an expert on Celiac Disease and biochemist Elaine Gottschall and clinically tested for over 50 years with results showing that 75% of those who adhered to the diet rigidly gained significant improvements with many considering themselves cured.
The diet is also extensively used in the treatment of children with autism as well as many other auto-imune diseases.
Healing Food's main requirement was a migration from the CMS (Content Management System) SquareSpace. Due to their excessive fee's by comparison to WordPress. The client already had a great site, however required it to be perfectly mirrored onto a whole new platform. As such the goal was to maintain the business image, on another platform to reduce costs.
After successful completion of the original project, further development has followed. To help provide the best quality, up to date systems & best payment platforms. Cubik has also assisted in training (of the new platform) and content management of the Healing Foods "Online Store" for further promotions, updates & various other tasks.
